The Jedi Resource Center We've all seen the movies. We bought the DVD's and the toys. We imagined what it would be like to be a Jedi. We went online and met others who thought like we did. We met online, we grew online, and we began organizing online. We encouraged each other to take the life we talked about online, offline; at work, as neighbors, as friends. We were no longer "role-playing," but Jedi Realists, making the Jedi way how we lived our lives. We were of all ages, sizes, shapes, belief systems – all united in our desire to live life as a Jedi. Some of us realized that we'd been already living such a life, and had finally found a name for it. We started organizing meetings offline – Gatherings – where we would get together to meet each other, to train in the ways of the Force, to have fun and bond, and to be encouraged to take what we learned back to the Real World. Out of all this was born the Jedi Resource Center, an online community dedicated to helping Jedi move offline. The JRC assists with training, networking, organizing and supporting offline groups who want to live the life of the Jedi in a way that is compatible with the world we live in, making our world a better place one person at a time.
