Hey guys I have been training as a jedi for the last 13 years mostly by myself not my choice though. When you live out in what fells like the middle of nowhere it is hard to find any other jedi. the place I refer too is everett washington which is by the pudget sound north of seattle. The really messed up thing about living over here is that the whole USA jedi craze started over on the east side of the country not the west and it is taken forever to get ver here :( :( I first learned about the jedi from the movies like most people but the intersting thing is that I consider myself a jedi but the movies never really do any thing for me they were just fun to watch. I know that is strange but hey it is just the way it is. Instead of siting and watching the movies over and over again I spent my childhood in a big field with a stick in my hand learning the basics of swordwork. Do to my location I have spent most of time learning from every book I could get my hands on and from the internet. Okay if anybody has a idea where a jedi group is around me then just e-mail me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

it's definately tough learning on your own. i had the benefit of a master for the first 3 years of my training although he was very demanding...if you want some more info that can help you out check out "the great jedi holocron" thread here...it has info on 2 different books of jedi training...with a bit of patience and effort you can achieve quite a bit even if it's on your own....even in the movies luke had to do alot of his training alone after yoda died

Welcome to the JRC, Zaron! I think there are definitely a few Jedi Realists in Washington, but not quite as active offline. Just by creating an account here, though, we'll be sure to keep you updated if a group does happen to form in your area. Also, please be sure to post your location on the Jedi Map if you haven't already. You can find the link in the tab bar at the top of the forum.

Thanks guys. I will take a look at the jedi holocron and try the map. Good point Darth Jediforever! we are tied together like it or not :) RyuJin luke was alone yes but look what happen to some of his students. It is tricky learning alone exspecially if you are trying to teach other but I do belive in some ways that it can conect us to the force more then even if you had a master. Moonshadow if you know any other jedi in washington can you perhaps help me get in contact with them even if I can;t see them it will help to know that their is someone else in this blasted state that thinks like I do but I must say that if they plan on having a conversation about belifes that I hope they are open to some wierd and grey ideas ideas.
May the force be with us and may we be with the force

Will do. Putting your location on the Jedi map is your best bet for having them contact you, though. I usually just refer people there and to the member list so they can search for other Jedi in their area.
