Great Plains Jedi Gathering

There is a Jedi Gathering which is in it's planning stages coming to Lincoln, Nebraska September 10-12 and will be the First Annual Gathering Sponsored by Coelescere.
This will be an educational event.
Basic Energy Healing Tools and Basic Swordsmanship Classes are on the list so far and are subject to change as the planing of this event is completed.

That's great! If you fill out the Gathering Host submission form once it's activated again, the JRC can help you advertise the Gathering along with the other 2010 / 2011 Gatherings if you like. I'll keep you updated on when the form is ready.

Moon, This Gathering, as of this posting is small, but I think we'll get some good learning opportunities out of it being a smaller group :) It's still on for Sept. 10-13, 2010 in Lincoln, NE :) I'll be attending :)

Thanks for letting me know. Ahweh never submitted a Gathering Host application, so I wasn't sure if it was still on and don't really have any details on it to help advertise.

Unfortunately, I was just in Nebraska in August and don't have the time to travel that far again so soon, otherwise I would have loved to have gone. Hope you have a good time, though!

Do you know who else is attending and/or if they're interested in starting a Chapter in the area since this seems to be more of a regional thing?

As of right now, it's most likely going to be Rivan, myself, and a couple others. There were going to be more, but finances are tight for a lot of people right now :( I think if anyone was going to submit a host application, it would have been Rivan, since he's hosting. Though I know he's been busy of late.

With the Gathering being so small, I don't think we'll have a set itinerary. There was some discussion, but I think it will be more open format :) I will, however, be teaching a Reiki I course :)

As to a Chapter in that area, It'd be best to approach Rivan himself about that :) I am planning on taking lots of pictures, and doing a write-up for Force Realists, which I will probably post here as well :)
