So today I find myself branching out into the larger online community. I'm fairly new to the path, maybe not so new to the ideas therein.

My main training home is the IJRS. Offline, I can usually be found somewhere in the Pacific Northwest US.

I look forward to getting to know you all better.

welcome to the jrc, in truth the concepts that jedi were based on are centuries old, only the name is new..

Welcome to the JRC, Atticus! It's great to have you here. Hopefully we'll eventually have a West Coast Gathering. Please let me know if you have any questions about the site or offline meetings. :)

Thank you both for the warm welcome.

Moonshadow, so far I've met very few Jedi in my area -- a state or two away maybe, no closer. I think a west coast or PNW gathering would be excellent.

I'm mainly looking for someone on the west coast to help me organize one. A few people have volunteered, but so far no one has followed through, so let me know if you're interested in helping out. :) Either way, I'll keep you updated about any west coast gatherings planned in the future.

I will definitely keep that in mind, thank you. I don't think the time is right for me to take on the organization, for many reasons, but I could certainly pitch in to help those who know what they're doing. :D

Check out the Jedi Map. There are two other Jedi posted for Washington. You should contact them and see if you guys could get together sometime. Or at least add yourself so they can contact you if they come by your area.

Thank you, Jeremy. One of those two is actually me :sHa_lol: But yes, the Jedi map is a great tool that will only get better as more people take advantage of it.

Ah. Since you used a different name on the map, I didn't realize. But there does appear to be another not far from you.

It has been very exciting to see the map grow.
